Harry, please accept this belated note of appreciation for your assistance from October. Your professional interest in helping me organize for my congregation a lively Simchat Torah had a positive and significant impact. The singers you secured were wonderful. They were personable and talented; and they came prepared to do anything asked. Without a doubt, it was the best Simchat Torah we've had here in years. On very short notice you crafted a solution that was just perfect.

I look forward to working with you in the future, and I wish you continued success in all of your efforts.

Sincerely,
Rabbi Yitzchok Adler

My son was recently Bar Mitzvahed in West Orange, NJ. Our family and friends include non-Jews and Jews from all different spectrums of Judaism from unafilliated non practicing to Lubavitch Chasidim and Harmonia appealed to every single one of our guests no matter their background or religion. Harmonia had everyone in the shul clapping, singing and dancing at Friday night and Shabbas services. They added a positive Ruach to the affair and made it an unforgettable event, which people will be talking about for years to come.

Dear Harry,

First, the group was a hit! Most of the people there had never heard of five wild and crazy orthodox guys singing like that. People kept coming over to me all evening and asking me where I found them.

I enjoyed their voices blending and singing with gusto. People asked them to sing Hebrew favorites, which surprised me. I kept asking for "Get A Job", and nobody else wanted to hear it. OK So "Fiddler on the Roof" it was!

The other plus was that Harmonia worked together with Ed Rocks, the one-man-band the committee had hired to play dance music. They all shared the spotlight in their own ways, and Ed was totally entranced by their musicianship.

All in all, I'd say the evening was enhanced tremendously by Harmonia's presence, and they made an otherwise predictable evening, unpredictable and delightful.

Thanks so much. I hope you get some calls out of this. And I certainly will want to use the group sometime next year for a party for my granddaughter. This will be a much easier commute!

Meanwhile, shalom and kol tov.

Harry Askenazi and his group Harmonia made my daughter’s chuppah a most beautiful and spiritual experience. They sang unusual melodies we requested from the Jewish South African wedding tradition with enthusiasm and emotion. Their expert harmonizing added an especially evocative atmosphere to the memorable occasion.

They are delightful young men whose choral singing would delight any crowd.

Dear Harry,

Just wanted to send you a note of sincere thanks to Harmonia for helping to make our son Robert's Bar Mitzvah a great success. The Harmonia singers, led by your incredibly talented and personable brother Marcos, were, next to the Bar Mitzvah boy of course, the talk of the simcha. Their talent, professionalism and enthusiasm added such a wonderful liveliness and overall good feeling to our simcha all Shabbos long. People continuously came over to me to remark how beautiful their voices were and how special they made not only the meals but the davening in Shul. People actually remarked as we were all dancing that they preferred your group much more than a live band.

Thanks again for a job well done!

Dear Harry,

We want to express our deep gratitude to you for not only arranging our wedding band, but for being our partner through the process. Your patience, your kindness, your organizational skill, and especially the time you devoted to ensuring our confidence and comfort, speaks accolades for Harmonia. Furthermore, your in-depth knowledge of the Jewish and secular music space enabled you to arrange an ensemble that was truly tailored to exactly what we envisioned. You handpicked the best in the industry for the very eclectic mix that we requested and they performed outstandingly. We thank every member of the band for their extraordinary performances, but also for the great energy they radiated throughout the evening. Many people commented on how the musicians seemed to really enjoy themselves up on stage, and that clearly added to the atmosphere of the entire night. We're especially grateful that you were so attentive to our specific requests, such as having the band learn songs that are special to us, employing a great sound system that allowed people to hear each other through every course, and making sure that the whole night's progression was seemless and without interruption. We applaud Harmonia and look forward to hearing this wonderful band at many more 'Harmonious' occasions!
